RESULTS
Lee’s Xmas Drinks Stableford – Sat 21st Dec
Many thanks to Lee for organising this Xmas event. We had a really good turnout. It was great fun and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.

Mick Schofield won the overall with 35 points, Chris Nash took the front with 17 points and Nick Chapman the back 9 with 17 points on countback from Mick Edmunds and Colin Wyatt. From memory they got £32.00 each.
Nearest the pins were won by Mick Schofield, Mick Edmunds, Gary O’Neil, Chris Donovan and Daryl Mechem.
Thank you to Bucko for doing the bacon rolls and looking after us in the bar and again to Lee for sorting out the after golf food and the prizes. Hopefully Lee will be up for repeating this next year.

FIXTURES
Wednesday Wanderers – No Club Booking this week
I have been advised that there is no club booking this Wednesday, New Years day, as the council don’t allow us club bookings on a public holiday. Furthermore, if you haven’t got a hangover and wish to make your own booking to get a game in, the council will be charging weekend rates.

Fri / Sat / Sun 3rd, 4th, 5th January
This weekend is the January monthly medal. Usual tee times each day. Stroke play off the Blue tees (back mats). Just a reminder that our local winter rules are on the notice board and we are not presently using the tree line as a guide for preferred lies.

Sportsman’s Draw 2025
Renewals need to be made up to and including 31st December to qualify for entry. Hopefully we will have all the information available and to hand to do the draw in the clubhouse after golf on Sunday 5th.
IF YOU WOULD PREFER NOT TO PLAY IN THIS COMPETITION, PLEASE REPLY TO THIS MAIL AND LET ME KNOW BEFORE SATURDAY THIS WEEK SO YOU ARE NOT PUT IN THE DRAW.
