RESULTS & FIXTURES

Hello All,

Just a quick update this week.

RESULTS
The mid week medal was played on the 17th January. Despite the freezing and windy conditions enough members entered to make the competition possible.

The day was won by Roy George who shot an amazing gross 77, net 62 to beat runner up Colin Gingel by 10 strokes. Colin shot a gross 91, net 72.

Roy was the only player to win club “birdie balls” with a 2 on the 15th and his 77 was the lowest gross of the day.
Well played and congratulations to Roy and Colin !

FIXTURES
Coming up next is the January Monthly Medal to be played over this weekend 26th -28th January. As usual there will be entry via the psi or howdidido. Just a reminder that if you sign in to the competition or even for a general play round you must enter a score afterwards. If there is a problem with the machine or your phone, don’t just leave it, message me and let me know or better still, photo your card and send it on WhatsApp.

The diary on our website www.southendgolf.co.uk is pretty much complete up to end of June. We have also recently added some of the special dates up to November, ie: Guest Day, Captains away days, Club championships etc, in order to give as much notice as possible. We will do our utmost not to move any of these but as I’m sure you understand, there may occasionally be circumstances arise where we have to.
