RESULTS
Despite the chilly conditions over the weekend the Stableford Trophy attracted 34 entries so well done to everyone that played. The competition was won by Phil Sanford with 40 points, beating Bryn Cooksley in to second place on 39 points, on countback from Gary Fraser also on 39 points. I think that’s three runners up spots in recent times for Bryn, he’s due a win !

Lowest gross score was Mick Edmunds with a 72 (38 points)
Remarkably there were no birdies at all scored on the par 3’s over the three days.
Congratulations and well played to Phil, Bryn, Gary and Mick !

COMPETITION DRAWS
After the golf on Sunday we were able to draw the winter 4 ball and the Sortsman competitions. The first two rounds of each are attached on the buttons below. Please ignore the dates at the headers, The proper charts will be printed and up on the boards shortly and some cut off dates will be added for the various stages. In the meantime just get on and start playing 1st and 2nd round matches as soon as possible, especially if you have early holidays booked this year.

MIDWEEK MEDAL
The midweek medal is still scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday 17th. For those planning on playing a little later just sign in and enter scores as usual.

NORMAN PLUM
Don’t forget that Mick would like as many of you participating as possible to attend this Saturday morning for a meet up and practice session.

FINALLY
I think a special thank you is due to Colin Jarman. He’s had a spell sidelined with a back injury recently and as well as carrying out all his new duties as club treasurer, took it upon himself to bring our trophies up to date. He’s spent countless hours going through them. He has cleaned and polished them all and identified the various names that need adding and is in the process of taking them to be engraved and ready for presentation. Well done Colin !
