OCTOBER MIDWEEK MEDAL 11/10/23
Daryl Mecham won the competition by some margin with a gross 76 / net 63 with runner up Colin Brett shooting a gross77 / net 67.
Brian Hone won a bottle of wine, generously donated by Captain Lee for “nearest the pin” on the 10th.

THE H FOREMAN CUP W/E 15/10/23
25 players took part at the weekend in this annual par / bogey competition. The winner with a score of +4 was Adam Johnson, beating runner up Dan Clement who had a +3. Tough going out there as these were the only two “plus” scores returned.

AUTUMN SHIELD THIS COMING SUNDAY 22/10/22
We have twenty teams (40 players) entered for this competition and have just enough tee times, starting from 8.30 am. A draw will be made and an order of play will be sent out later on this week

DINNER DANCE 10/11/23
Lee would like to just remind all of you that have put your names down for the Dinner Dance but HAVE NOT YET sent payment OR listed your menu choices to please do so by the 28th October latest.

Brian Taylor is close to completing an order with Callaway so if you are looking to order some clothing, now is the time to do it. If you contact Brian direct at blt@sky.com he can either send you a link to the on line catalogue or if you already know what you want, you can add it to the list on the notice board in the club house.

WEDNESDAY WANDERERS XMAS OUTING 29/11/23
All are welcome to this good value xmas lunch and golf day. We are returning to Basildon Golf Course again this year, where we have always enjoyed a really good day out. There is Tea/coffee on arrival, 18 holes of golf followed by 2 course xmas lunch with coffee and mints after.. The cost is £30.00 each. A £10 deposit will be required. The more the merrier, so if you would like to join us, either put your name on the sign up sheet on the notice board or email Brian direct on blt@sky.com.
