Gents,

I would like to apologise for the lateness of this message as I was away last week. I would like to thank everyone who attended the Guest Day. The day was a great success and I hope that everyone enjoyed themselves. I would like also to congratulate all of the winners on the day, I’m sorry not to name you all individually but congratulations.
These days can only happen with a lot of help from family, friends and members of our great club.

I would like to thank Keeley, Robbo, Chappers, Nigel and Beef for all of your help with the shopping, cooking, the BBQ, tidying up and support. Thank you also to Colin W, Jarrod and Colin F for helping with cleaning the bbq and club on Sunday. Thank you to Carleigh,Terry Burgess and Sarah for your hard work behind the bar. Special thanks go to my Vice Captain Chris Snell and Anita and Lauren for their assistance in the kitchen and all the other things they helped with.

A very special thanks goes to my wife Denise and my children Hayley and Luke for all their support leading up to the guest day and helping out all day. Also thanks to my daughters partner Drew for all his help.If I have forgotten anyone I apologise but thanks to everyone.

The importance of the guest day is to have fun introduce potential new members to our club and most importantly to raise money for charity. My charity this year Gold Geese did really well from the guest day with all the support we raised over £750. I would like to thank every single one of you for your kindness and generosity, this will benefit a lot of children, thank you.

As I said before these days do not happen without your support thank you all once again. I hope everyone has a great summer playing golf and supporting our great club.”
