Last Weekend we played The April Monthly Medal.

Over 30 played in some atrocious weather. Great effort!

Division 1 Winner with an excellent 70-4= 66 was Mick Edmunds from the Runner-Up Andy Scott with 82-14-68. Congratulations and well played to you both.

Division 2 was Won by Chris Nash 87-23- 64 from The Runner-Up Chris Donovan with 84-19-65. Fantastic scoring, congratulations to both and unlucky Chris D !

Numerous Birdie balls were Won by Dave Seymour, Andy Scott x 2 Jarrod Joseph, Nick Chapman, Iain McEwan, Kai Edmunds and Clive Jones. Well done All.

This coming Weekend we will be playing The Southend Cup Qualifier.

This is a Medal Round off the White Tees. £3.00 entry Fee. The 15 best scores plus The Holder Garry Dickinson will qualify for the Draw of the Knock Out Competition.

Well done Andy Scott and Peter Robinson on progressing to the next Round of the Daily Mail Pairs Competition in defeating Belfairs Golf Club at the Weekend.

Brian Hull’s family held a celebration of his life last Sunday at The Paul Pry in Rayleigh. They were delighted to see so many of you attending. Thank you to The Captain Lee all who did and those who were unable to and passsed on messages of condolence. Southend Golf Club was an important part of Brian’s life and he both served and supported the Club in many capacities over the years. He will be missed by all. RIP Brian.
