Last Wednesday The Wednesday Wanderers held their annual Christmas golf day at Basildon. Over 20 attended and a great day and Lunch was enjoyed by us all.

Congratulations to the Winner Jorge, and all those who won various prizes on the day! Many thanks to Brian Taylor for organising,

Reminder to you all that Club membership Fees are currently due. These must be paid by the end of the Month in order to play in Club competitions and to be included in the draw for the Sportsman Trophy, The draw for which will be conducted in the 1st week of January

As per last year, if you do NOT wish to be included in the draw for the above please let me know in plenty of time to avoid pointless Matches resulting in byes/walk overs.

I am told that for those interested The Club will be open on Saturday evening for the England v France World cup game!

Finally, on behalf of The Committee and you all, I would like to thank our outgoing Captain Nick Chapman and his wife Sarah for their service and commitment to our club over the past year. Their hard work supported by Lee have ensured a great year has been delivered and enjoyed at our Club and relationships with the Kindred Clubs strengthened, Great job Nick.

Best wishes, Wrap up, keep warm and enjoy your golf!
