The November Medal

This coming Weekend we are playing The November Monthly Medal.

£2.00 entry, Birdie balls on Par 3 Holes only. Play from Black Mats. Please sign in and enter your scores on completion. Note your playing Handicap.

The Belfairs Park golf course has now been visited by The course rating and measuring Team as promised and has been reassessed.

White – Course Rating 67.9 – Par 70 – Slope – 117
Yellow – 66;5- Par 70 – Slope 112
Blue Back Mats – 66.0- Par 70 – Slope- 112

It appears Handicaps above 24 will receive additional strokes,

Conversion Tables will be posted in club as soon as possible.

The Order of Merit for this year with only three or four competitions to either be completed or played is tight at the top, All to play for.

Please see attachment and disregard the bottom 2 entries who I am unable to remove!

Congratulations to Dave Grimble on winning the Electic Cup, This is where 5 random competition rounds are selected through the year and the computer will calculate the winner. Well done Dave and runner up John Humble. The full result will be posted at the club. The list is up at the club for The winter 4 Ball.

£4,00 entry fee per pair. Place your entry fees in an envelope in box when entering. The draw will be conducted on Sunday 27th November. No Fee No entry.

Please do not enter if you are not willing to play your Matches in the cold, wind and rain!

Finally please make sure that before submitting your cards that they are correctly signed by yourself and or Marker, There have been several DQ’s as a result of unsigned cards.

Today the course staff were cutting fairways and aerating greens.
