A reminder that The Wednesday Wanderers Away Day is on Wednesday 30th November at Basildon Golf Club. Bscon Roll, 18 Holes followed by 2 course Christmas lunch. All for only £30 including Prizes!

A deposit of £10 is required no later then 10th November to either Brian Taylor or Dave Buckley.

The AGM and Presentation night is on Friday 25th November.

Brian Taylor will shortly be taking over the ordering of Callaway Club clothing.

Should you require Club Polo shirts please email Brian at BLT@sky.com with size and quantity. In time other items can be ordered from the latest catalogue, of which the link to view will be sent out when available.

Temporary Local Winter Rule:

The committee have authorised again until further notice a local Rule covering the loss of balls struck clearly on to the fairway which are then lost as a result of loose autumnal leaves preventing locating and identification of the ball.

“Where such an incident applies, the player will seek agreement from his playing partners as such and a ball may be dropped in the general area where it is believed that the ball last came to rest on the fairway.

That ball will then be considered to be in play and played without penalty”

This is particularly applicable on the 14th and 17th Holes. This local Rule will be reviewed in January.
