Hello All.

Last weekends competition featured The H Foreman Cup which is a club Major Honour Board competition.

17 played and congratulations to Tony Crispin on winning with an impressive score in beating the course 4 up. The runner up with a score of 2 up was Chris Nash. Well played both of you.

Roger Foreman v Belfairs Sunday 30th :

The Team as you know has been selected and all is set for SGC to win back the Shield on Sunday.

Reserves please either come up to the club or be available at short notice to step in if required. If you do not wish to be contacted please let the Captain or Vice know.

Please arrive at the club in plenty time for your tea coffee and bacon roll! The 1st Tee time is 7.45 am.

The format is Greensomes, which is players all drive and then select which ball will be used for the next shot. Alternative shots until the conclusion of the hole thereafter.

We are playing from the front Mats. Handicaps will be taken from the Yellow conversion chart which are displayed in the club both in the changing room and corridor.

The Team Handicap will be 60% of the lowest and 40% of the highest course Handicaps.

There will be a conversion chart in the club to make things easy!

All Players are expected to turn out in Club colours. If you do not possess a club shirt please make arrangements to borrow one.

I am sure that we will have a great day on Sunday!

Well done all of you who played in the Quality Street golf day last Saturday. A good day was had by all and congratulations to Dave Payne, Jules and Craig Deal who won cash prizes and Craig for Having the best score for the
year. Tony Pegrum gets a mention for a nearest the pin but I cant remember the others!!

A list is up at the club for the annual Wednesday Wanderers. Christmas golf day at Basildon Golf club on Wednesday 30th November.

£30.00 wil get you coffee and a bacon roll, golf followed by a 2 course Christmas lunch. Guest prizes and WW prizes also included.

A £10 non refundable deposit is required ASAP by Brian Taylor. No deposit no go!
