Hello All.

Another fantastic event last Weekend saw 37 play for the Presidents Trophy and Saturdays Individual Prize. It was great to see so many of you at the Club enjoying the golf and great food and entertainment laid on by Stan and Julie. A big thank you to all those who supported the day and contributed to the great atmosphere.

The overall Winner was Daryl Mecham with 40 Points whoplayed Friday, from Runner Up Jorge 39 Points. Jorge Won Saturdays Individual Prize. Congratulations and well played all. Ali Fisher scooped the Nearest the Pin on the 1st!

Full result is available on Howdidido and will be displayed in the Club.

I am delighted to report that over £530 was raised on the day for The Captains Charity!

There is no Club Competition this coming Weekend.Please amuse yourselves with the usual Roll Up’s and play your outstanding Matches.

Due to Belfairs GC Captains Day this coming Sunday 3rd July We are having the early Tee Times on BOTH days over the Weekend. Snooze you lose!

Bacon Roll Tea/Coffee Followed by Golf.
12 Noon 1st Tee time. 3 Club Challenge
Nearest the Pin, Prizes etc.
BBQ After golf.
£10 Per person.
Live Music to follow. Whats not to like!
All are welcome. A list is being put up this Week in the Club.

Malcolm Brennan’s Charity Golf Day in support of his nominated Cancer Charity.

More details will be published in due course, but please support this important day as it means a lot to Malcolm to give back a little after his fight against the disease over the past year or so. There will be the usual golf, Prizes, a bit of food etc.Cost tbc.

John Worth – Celebration of his Life:

Former valued Member John Worth’s Widow, Karen would like to invite all who knew John to a celebration of his life at the family home on Friday 1st July at 4 Paxfords, Laindon, Basildon, SS15 6SQ from 3pm.
