Hello All

We now catch up on the result of our last Competition which was The May Medal played over the weekend of the 6-8th May.

There was a fantastic turnout with 33 Members playing.

The Winner of Division 1, again in a card Play off from Roy George, Peter Robinson and Garry Dickinson was Martin Johnson 81-12-69. Congratulations and well played Martin and the Runners Up.

Division 2 was Won by Phil Sanford with 92-26-66 from Simon Ravinet 87-19-68. Well done and congratulations both.

Birdie Balls were Won by Peter Robinson on 1st, Tony Pegrum and Terry Burgess on12th and Vice Captain Lee Porter on 15th. Well done.

Full results are available on Howdidido and will be displayed in the Club. I will be available over this coming weekend to hand out balls and Medals to those winners who wish them!

A reminder that this coming weekend we are playing The Guy Aldred Trophy.

This is a Team Stableford competition off the White Tees and is £4.00 entry Per Team. The Computer will issue you with a Team Handicap when signing in and creating your team. Please take care when creating Teams and entering scores.

The Summer 4 Ball draw again is available to view under Knock out competitions on Howdidido until a Competition chart is put up in the club. There are 7 Round 1 Matches that should be played by Sunday 5th June. Please make every effort to play by that date.

We are progressing well with All Competitions and I an report that The Winter 4 Ball competition was concluded recently with Martin Jones and Mick Edmunds beating Jarrod Joseph and Nigel Hammond in the Final 4&3. (Probably wrong!).

Congratulations to the Winners and Runners Up on a sporting Match and Merit points deservedly Won.

The list for Guest Day has been removed and order of play being completed. Saturday 28th May. If you or any guests are no longer attending please let Nick, Lee or myself know. The Itinerary will be sent out with all details that you and your guests require in due course.

Please note that the Queens Platinum Jubilee Competition and celebration is on Saturday 4th of June. In order to make the arrangements I will be putting a list up this week so please indicate if you will be attending. More details to follow!
