Message from Club President Stan Ferguson

No doubt you have seen the posters in the Club relating to the annual Presidents Day Party.

The last Party was pre- pandemic during Peter Robinson’s Captaincy. We were able to raise a considerable sum towards his chosen charity. It would be my desire to raise an equal amount for this years charity with your help and support for Nick Chapman. We all wish Nick a speedy recovery from his recent ankle injury.

The Presidents Trophy will be held on Saturday 25th June followed by a party with a Caribbean theme, food beverages, fun, games and frolics. There will be the usual raffles in the practiced format.

Those attending please wear your most outrageous party shirts, dresses, grass skirts or flower garlands if you prefer and Rasta hats all in the name of charity.

Anyone wishing to supply a raffle prize this would be greatly appreciated.

Tickets £8.00 per person. Guests, Wives, girlfriends etc are all welcome. On presentation of your ticket at bar you will receive complimentary Rum punch which is not to be missed. Dancing to DJ Paul, With all of your favourite Reggae bands! Thanks Paul.

Normal Saturday Tee Times in place at present. There will be additional lunchtime tee times to be arranged by Chris Snell if there is a demand, let him know asap.Party starts after golf finishes in the afternoon, food one hour later. Music start and finishing times at the discretion of Paul and Dave.

The Presidents Trophy is a Club Competition. However I will present an additional prize for the best individual Stableford score. You must attend the party to qualify for the prize. Payment for tickets can be made at the bar, to me in person, alternatively by bank transfer giving your name as reference.
