Hello All

Congratulations to Allan Davis on Winning the Stableford Trophy with an impressive 42 Points, from the Runner up Tony Crispin with 41 Points. Mick Edmunds was 3rd with 39 Points. Well done All.

Merit Points are awarded for the top 6 Places in individual Competitions 50-40-30-20-10-5 respectively.

All Monthly Medal Rounds 25-15-10-5 for both Divisions.

I will be publishing the current Order of Merit table at the end of the Month.

Competition Update:

This coming Weekend I will be adding an additional Competition to this Months schedule The Valentine Medal. £3.00 Entry, Play off Back Blue Mats. Birdie Balls for Par 3 Holes only.

The following Weekend will be the February Monthly Medal followed by the Golden Day Trophy on last Weekend of the Month.

The Winter 4 Ball is now at the last 8 stage. Please arrange your Matches now so that the completion Deadline is met for the end of this Month or risk elimination.

The Sportsman Sheet should be up in the Club by the Weekend. Please arrange and play 1st Round Matches, which must be completed by 6th March.

The Entry list for The Veterans Trophy is now closed. The draw will be conducted after golf on Wednesday.

Congratulations to New Members Chris Nash and Phil Sanford on quickly putting in cards and obtaining WHS Handicaps, which I will be contacting you with shortly. You may now participate in Club Competitions.

A reminder again to All that You must convert your Handicap Index into your Course Handicap.

This may vary depending on what Tee you are playing from. Consult the conversion Charts at the Club At present you only need the Blue Tee Chart.

In Medal and Stableford Competition you play off 95% off your Course Handicap.

When playing in Knock Out Matchplay you are entitled to play off 100% of your Course Handicap.
