Hello All.

As we encounter the cold and wet weather the number of Club Competitions traditionally ease off due to the decrease in numbers turning out and the regular closing of the course and or holes due to conditions underfoot.

This Weekend we will play the December Monthly Medal. £3.00 entry. Play from the Back Mats. Birdie Balls on Par 3 Holes.

A reminder that the Captains Drive in is this coming Sunday at 1.30pm. There will be a buffet and raffle. This is a significant date in the Club diary so it would be great to see you at the club to show your support for Nick Chapman.

Please can all involved in the Winter 4 ball competition ensure that matches are arranged promptly within the deadline that has been set 1st weekend in January. Failure to do so could result in elimination!

I will soon be putting up the entry list for the Veterans Trophy. This is a ‘Major’ Honour Board Competition. £2.00 entry fee payable in advance. You must be 55 years of age at the time of entry. The draw will be in the new year. Please do not enter if you have not renewed Membership.

Dave is recovering at home from his recent surgery and as he becomes more mobile I am sure we will see him soon at the club.

In the meantime the bar is being operated by committee members wherever possible. Thanks to Lee Porter and Colin Wyatt for your assistance and hard work in running the bar! I will open the bar on Wednesday and Friday whenever available.

The Club is considering opening on Saturday 18th December for a Christmas party/Drink more details to follow if there is sufficient interest? Let us know,
