Congratulations to the Winners of the Turkey Trot Hampers which we played for last Weekend.
Jarrod Joseph was the emphatic Winner with a splendid 41 Points, which included many Birdies and 25 Points on the front 9 Holes. Well played Jarrod!
Roy George was Runner Up with 39 Points. Also claiming a Hamper. Good effort Roy.
28 Played and £55.00 was collected? Please make sure that the correct money is inserted in the envelopes as one was short!

No Competition this Weekend so amuse yourselves in the snow/Rain!
A Reminder that the AGM is this Friday at 7.30pm, followed by Presentation to those attending of Trophies and Balls where applicable. The bar is open so come and have a beer and have your say in the running of your Club.
Those of you who are registered on the England Golf site may well have received the email from England Golf advising that as of 29th November any Pre Registered General play score intents via the My England Golf App or Club software, where no score is returned within a reasonable time, a Penalty score will be imposed. This Penalty could result in your Handicap being adjusted.
This will occur where no reasonable explanation is given or reply to a reminder from England Golf. In exceptional circumstances the Handicap Committee may consider revoking the penalty score.
In short, if you register an intent to play at another course please make sure you input a score after play.
The Wednesday Wanderers Christmas Golf day at Basildon on Wednesday 1st December is now booked and deposits paid. 10am for Bacon Roll and Coffee, 18 Holes Golf followed by 2 course Christmas Lunch. Any issues please contact Brian Taylor direct.
You will all join me in wishing Dave Buckley well with his long awaited surgery which is imminent and his recovery afterwards. Dave will be away for a couple months. Good luck and best wishes Dave.
