Last Weekend we played the November Monthly Medal.

23 Members took part, £69.00 was collected.

Division 1 Winner with 72/68 was Mick Edmunds. Lowest Gross. Runner Up Dave Seymour with 81/70. Congratulation and very well played.

Diviion 2 Winner with 83/62 was Lee Porter. Fantastic scoring, with Nick Chapman Runner up with 85/65. Well done to you both.

This Weekend is the Turkey Trot. 18 Hole Stableford Competition Back Mat’s Blue Tees. £2.00 Entry. Winner and Runner up will receive a fantastic Hamper.

AGM & Presentation night: Reminder this will be at the Club on Friday 26th November. Please add your name on the list if you intend coming. Subscriptions will be taken at the door where applicable.

CAPTAINS Drive in: Date for your Diary, Sunday 12th December. Your new Captain Nick Chapman will be hosting his official Drive in at the Club at 1.30pm. There will be a Raffle and buffet provided. Please show your support for Nick by attending the Club. We will be having the early tee time on both days that weekend for those wishing to play golf beforehand.

Les Aston: Celebration of Les’s life.

As some are aware former well regarded Member Les Died in April of last Year at the height of the COVID Lockdown. Sadly a wake was not possible.The Club was very important to Les and his Wife Lynn invites any friends of Les to attend a Celebration of his life between 1-5pm at ‘The Lodge Country Inn, Burnham Road, Battlesbridge, SS1 7QT.

The Committee are grateful to all who have renewed their membership and welcome all who have recently joined our Club. You are most welcome and hope that you will feel at home and enjoy your golf.

The Club keys are currently missing from the Starters Hut. Please return!!
