Hello All.

Last Sunday we hosted Belfairs Golf Club playing the Roger Foreman Shield.

Congratulations to all of the Team in playing in horrendous weather conditions and achieving a fantastic win 10-4.This was a great effort by all who took part.

Well done on continuing our dominance in this fixture and on behalf of the Captain for your support in the raffle after golf. His charity has benefited greatly.

Thank you to Dave for his hard work and catering after a busy Halloween function the previous evening.

No Golf Shoes in Bar:

Thank you in advance for complying with the request to change out of golf shoes before entering the Bar.

Club Clothing:

Please contact Pete Robinson directly should you wish to order Club clothing. His contact details are on notices around the Club. You must include the item code and size.

Winter 4 Ball:

The Winter 4 Ball Preliminary round matches must be played by the last weekend of November, around 3 weeks time. As most of you involved play at the weekends please sort out dates ASAP. Any issues please speak to me.

This coming weekend is free of Competition so amuse yourselves with gambling and taking Robbo’s money!

GUR:

Please Note that the first left hand bunker near the green on the 18th Hole has been marked as GUR. There is a clear Drop Zone marked. Please remove your ball and play from the DZ without penalty.

Wednesday Wanderers:

I have spoken with Cyril and in the absence of the yearly Order of Merit Trophy etc due to COVID, I will be arranging in early December a Christmas Stableford Competition day.

As I am holding some cash that many of you have paid, this will be used to provide Soup,Turkey Rolls and Mince pies after golf.

Those wishing to play will pay a £5 entry to cover Prizes for the usual front and back 9 and overall winner. There will be nearest the pin prizes as well!

If I can recover the Trophy from Tony Housing, this will be presented to the best regular Wednesday Wanderer. ALL Members are welcome.

AGM/Presentation Night:

I will be putting up a list in the club for you to indicate if you intend to attend the AGM and presentation night on 26th November so we have an idea who is coming. Please make an effort to attend.
