Hello All.

Last Weekend we played the The October Monthly Medal with 30 Member taking part.

Division 1 was Won By Roy George in a card play off from Iain McEwan, both scoring Net 71’s. Congratulations and well played to you both.

Division 2 was Won by Chris Snell, again in a card play off from Colin Wyatt, with both recording Net 72’s. Congratulations and well played Colin and me!

Birdie Balls were Won by Ali Fisher (10th) Andy Scott and Colin Wyatt (15th) Well done!

Lowest Gross score was recorded by ‘The Best Player at the Club’ Mick Edmunds, with a Gross 76.

Next Weekend we will be playing the Fred Gates Trophy. This is a Medal Round played from the White Tees. £3.00 Entry Birdie Balls for 2’s on Par 3 Holes only.

A Reminder that Next years Membership fees of £160.00 will become due from the 1st November. If you wish to rejoin the Club it would be appreciated if you can renew as soon as possible.

If you have recently joined and paid in full this does not apply to you!

You will need to have renewed and paid in full to be entered into the draw for The Sportsman’s Trophy which will be conducted at the beginning of next year.

I will be removing the list for the Winter 4 Ball at the end of this week prior to a draw at the Club over the Weekend. There has been an excellent response. Several pairs have not as yet paid entry. This is a requirement prior to the draw. I will remind any still outstanding. Still not too late to submit a Team.

You will notice that after Cyril had an unfortunate collision with one of the metal Tee posts on the 11th Tee that they have been relocated to the safe sides of the Tees. I am glad that Cyril was not more seriously injured and his leg is recovering!
