Hello All.

I am delighted to report that on Monday Southend Golf Club entered two Teams in The Ballards Gore Seniors Invitational Competition, an event open to all Essex Clubs. Over 80 Golfers participated.

The event was a Team Stableford Competition with the best 3 scores counting. The 4th Team members score to count in the event of a tie.

Our Team of Roy ‘Robber’ George, Martin Johnson, Mick Butcher and Simon Ravinet were victorious with 107 points, winning by one point!

Congratulations to you all and well played. A great achievement for our small Club in winning this event for the second time in recent years.

An excellent days golf with a fantastic lunch and presentation was had by all who attended.

Thanks go to Dave Seymour on his arrangements, but who sadly missed out on glory with an injury! Hope you are fit soon.

A reminder that this Weekends October Medal we have the EARLY Tee times on both Saturday and Sunday!
