Saturday saw a good turn out to play for the Dave Cundick Memorial Trophy.

Congratulations to the Winner Peter Robinson, who scored an impressive 44 Points and played some impressive golf on his way to an emphatic win. Well played to the Runner Up Chris Kirby with 41 Points.

Club Championships Saturday and Sunday 28/29th August:

Thank you to all who have either entered on the list at the Club or have contacted me directly and indicated what Competitions they are entering. Also those who are playing on Sunday only.

At present I have 21 playing on Saturday plus another 4 playing Sunday only, in either the Ben Birkham or Jimmy Groves Trophies. These Competitions are open to all who play on Sunday.

Ben Birkham – Handicap Indexes 20.1 and above
Jimmy Groves – Handicap Indexes 0-20.0 only.
These conform to the past CONGU Handicap entry provisions.

I have a provisional Order of Play for Saturday. 3 Balls with lowest Handicap players going out first in order, followed by those playing in the Handicap Competition only in lowest Handicap order.

Therefore it is important that you let me know ASAP if you are no longer available on both days or you wish to play. Otherwise the Order of play will NOT be amended on the day.

I will send out an update later in the week with the Order of Play and information as to when the Club will be open etc.

There will be no alterations without my prior agreement. Sundays Order of Play will be determined after scores are posted Saturday with Leaders going out in the final groups.

There will be a fantastic BBQ after golf on Sunday provided by the Club and prepared by Lee Porter. I look forward to seeing you all over the Weekend and look forward to another great couple of days at our Club. Play nice and enjoy your golf!
