Sunday saw Southend on Sea Golf Club Host the Final of the Kindred Shield. 20 Teams competed in kind weather despite forecast of heavy rain thunder and lightening.

You will be delighted to know that your small Club delivered an excellent event.

Congratulations to our Team who battled hard to lead, only to be beaten by the final return of 48 Points by Belfairs!

Well done to all who contributed to the Runner Up position. A hard to take result but a very respectable achievement.

Vice Day:
Finally a big thank you to Vice Captain Nick for organising a great golf day at the Club a couple of Fridays back. Golf followed by lots of food and good company plus beer. Whats not to like.

Great weather saw a good turn out resulting in Paul Eley cleaning up cash and 1st prize with 40 Points from Dave Grimble and Jamie Montgomery on 39 Points. Well done all.
