Hello All

Last Weekend saw us play for the Guy Aldred Trophy.

15 Pairs went out and £60.00 was collected.

Andy Scott and Pete Robinson scoring 45 Points were victorious, hanging on to beat Jamie ‘Beef’ Montgomery and Martin ‘No neck’ Johnson, who scored 44 Points and sadly did their dough as well!

Congratulations and well played to both pairs. The full Results are published on Howdidido and will be displayed in the Club.

As an aside the dream team of Edmunds and McEwan scored 47 Points on Sunday, but as not entered it didn’t matter! Well played Mick who scored a Gross 70.

This Weekend many Members are away at the Open so there will be no Club Competition. Please amuse yourselves with the Strollers and Quality Street Roll Up’s.

The past few weeks many of us have enjoyed fantastic nights at the Club to watch and support England in the Euro’s. On all of our behalf I would like to thank Bucko who along with his helpers kept us all supplied with Beer and snacks. Debbie/Donna was especially welcome on Sunday!

Thanks also to Colin Wyatt for enforcing the Covid Mask regulations. This was essential to ensure that the Club was not liable for any enforcement action should we have been visited.

We all look forward to Vice Nick’s Golf day on Friday, be early for Bacon Rolls and hot drinks.

First tee time 10am, followed by light lunch and Prizes!
