Hello All.
Please find attached the results of last weekends Competition The October Monthly Medal.
There were 22 entries and 22 cards were submitted. £66.00 was collected. Birdie balls were won By both Lewis Burgess and Colin Fulker for Birdie 2’s on the 15th. Well done.
Division 1
Winner with a Nett 69 on a rare visit to the club was Alistair Fisher. Congratulations and well done. Runner up on Back 6 count back with Nett 69’s was Malcolm Brennan from Terry Burgess (Lowest Gross) Well played to you both bad luck Terry!
Division 2
Winner with a Nett 72 was Colin Fulker, who nearly smiled! Runner up with a Nett 73 was Tony Crispin. Well done both of you.
Competition Update
Several Matches were played over the weekend.
I can report that Dave Seymour overcame Lewis Burgess in The Quarter Final of The Henry Cotton. Neil ‘Phantom Knee’ Way prevailed over Chris Kirby in the other Quarter Final. Dave and Neil now face each other in the Semi Final. We await the upcoming Quarter Final Between Lord Leek and Andy Scott.
In The Burkes Bowl, Gary Fraser won a close Match with Brian Taylor to progress to the Semi Final. Well done. Gary plays either Lee porter or Bob Leek.
Congratulations to Bob Leek, who has been busy since returning from Holiday, who disposed of Paul Gray to reach the Final Of the Southend Cup. He will play Ian Southgate. Latest odds on Betfair- 4/6 Leek, Even Money Southgate!! We shall see.
Please continue to organise and play outstanding few matches as soon as possible. Talk to each other!
