Good afternoon All.
Please find attached the Results of this Weekends Competition The Tiger Trophy.
This was a highly contested event which saw 26 entries and cards completed. £78.00 was collected.
Birdie balls were won by Lee Porter, Dave Seymour, Terry Burgess and Dave Payne. Well done.
Despite the course playing tough with burnt and bare fairways, plus some difficult tee Positions on the back 9, many low scores were returned and some very good golf was played.
The Winner, on only his fifth appearance of the season, was Dave Payne with an excellent Score of Nett 65. This was on Countback from Kevin Verner, who scored a Nett 65 despite an 11 On the 14th! Congratulations and well played to you both.
Well done Dave and Kevin you have earned your Handicap reductions !

Other commendable scores were returned by Andy Scott Nett 66 and Colin Wyatt Nett 67. Well played.
Veterans Trophy Result
The Final of the Veterans Trophy was played on Sunday and resulted in a narrow Victory On the 18th to Stan Ferguson, defeating Match play specialist Bob Leek, 1 Up. Congratulations to you both on reaching the Final and well played Stan on holding off Bob In what must have been an exciting and eventful Match!
Burkes Bowl
In the battle of the ‘Bandits’ Kevin Verner’ narrowly defeated Vice Tony Crispin in The Burkes Bowl Quarter Final recording Nett 65 and Nett 68 respectively!
Quiz Night – Saturday 19th October
