A three horse race, but you have to be in it to win it and well done to the Winner Ian McEwan with a two shot victory over Runner up Paul Gray with a commendable Nett 69. (Malcolm Sargent also ran) Sorry Malcolm!
Handicap Review/Reductions
In accordance with the advice contained within the CONGU Unified Handicapping System, Section 3, the following will have a reduction in playing Handicap under Clause 23 ‘General Play adjustment’.
This is where the players Home Club consider that a players Handicap is too High and does not reflect his current playing ability.
This is determined by examining returned scores (where scores have been affected by one or more unduly bad hole) and results/progression in Match play competitions, Four Ball Competitions, etc.
There will be a full Club Handicap Review conducted at the end of November.
Well done to the following Members. Your hard work is paying off!
Paul Eley – 18.6 from 19.9
Kevin Verner – 21.8 from 23.2
Ronnie Bridges- 25.4 from 27.4
Bob Leek – 22.0 from 23.0
