Please find attached the results of last Weekends Club Competition The Captains Cup.
This was played for on Captains Day last Saturday, 36 Members and Guests attended and played
For overall prizes. The Captains Cup was played for by Members who possessed Competition Handicaps.
It was yet another well attended and well organised day. It was fantastic to see so many Members, guests
And former Captains support the current Captain and his charity. A total of £429.00 was raised on the day.
Another great day at the club was enjoyed by all. Good company, Golf, food, drink, great prizes and a raffle. What’s
not to like!
Thanks as usual to the Club Ladies, who provided plentiful Bacon rolls and large amounts
of Chilli, curry, Various Shepherds and Cottage pies, cookies etc. Despite the attempts of Andy Scott to eat most
of it, everyone was very well fed! Thanks as usual to Dave Buckley and all those who contributed to the day.

The Captains Cup was won by Lewis Burgess with a Nett 67 from runner up Jarrod Joseph with a Nett 68.
Well played and congratulations to Lewis for a second victory in consecutive weeks.
The Overall day was won by Club Member Brian Bamford with an excellent Nett 63. Well done Brian.
You will note a deserved Handicap reduction! Good to see you at the Club.

The Gold Medal will be played on Sunday 8th September. All Winners of Medals in the last 12 months
Will be qualified if they wish to play. All others can play for the Silver medal. A list of qualifiers
will be on the board soon!
