Hello All.

Please find attached the results of this weekends Competition The H Foreman Cup. 23 entries, 23 cards submitted and £46.00 was collected.

Fred Lockhart and Paul Eley were Disqualified as did not signed Cards.

Whilst I appreciate the enjoyment of those playing for cash, it is important that when participating In Club Competitions and marking cards that the scoring and results shown on the completed cards Prioritise the actual competition entered and not Stableford scores.

Also I would be grateful it if greater care could be shown when entering either your own or someone else’s scores on the PSI. The entering of incorrect scores has added to confusion this week!

That all said a fiercely competitive weekend saw Dave Grimble winning on countback, better last six holes, From Lee Porter and Chris Kirby. All on a score of +4.

Congratulations and well played to you all. Your Handicaps have all been reduced accordingly.

This coming weekend we will be playing The July Monthly Medal. £3.00 entry, Birdie 2’s balls on Par 3 Holes, white Tees, please sign in and enter your scores on the PSI on completion.

This Wednesday we will be playing the July Monthly Midweek Medal. Same entry conditions as above. All are welcome. It was good to see 16 members at the club last Wednesday and a morale boosting visit on the first tee From the Captain which is always appreciated.

Thank you to those who have arranged matches promptly and progressed competitions well towards Closing rounds/Finals. It is appreciated. The Burkes Bowl list is filling up. For those who have not enclosed Your entry fee of £2.00 please do so to ensure that you go in the draw.
