Hello All.

Please note that The Club Championship which was scheduled to take place on Sunday 4th August has been moved to the following Sunday 11th August.

This late decision has been made as Belfairs Guest day is also taking place on the original Date. The change will avoid tee and course congestion and potential parking issues. Apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause.

The August Monthly Medal will now take place over the weekend of 2nd – 4th August.

A list will be going up shortly for those members who intend to play the 36 Hole Club Championship Scratch and Handicap Competitions on the Sunday. This is to ascertain catering required for lunch for participants and potential numbers expected on the day.

A separate Competition The Ben Birkham Trophy will be played over that weekend for players With a 19 and above Handicap who do not wish to play in The Club Championship.

Midweek Medal Result

This Wednesday we played the July Midweek Medal.

15 players entered, 15 cards completed and £45.00 was collected. Another fantastic turnout.

Birdie Balls were won by I Southgate, P Robinson, D Seymour, and M Brennan. Well done.

The winner with an excellent 83/66 Nett was the Medal king Tony Howson who’s investment in the Sports Psychologist sessions continue to reap dividends!

Mugged at the death were Ian Southgate and Roy George who also played exceptionally well to Record scores of Nett 67’s. All three have received Handicap reductions. The CSS was 68
