Please find attached latest competition results for both the Captains away day The Morrie Burns Trophy and last weekends Ian Nelson Trophy.

The Morrie Burns Trophy was fittingly won by the Captain Peter Robinson with A score of 33 Points.
The runner up with 31 Points was Dave Seymour. Well played over what appeared by The scoring to be a difficult course!

The Ian Nelson Trophy was fought out over the back 9 on Fathers Day by Terry and Lewis Burgess. Lewis was unable to magic victory over his Dad, losing on countback, both scoring An impressive 37 points.

The overnight leader Andy ‘The Wedge’ Scott continued his recent upsurge in form finishing Third with 36 Points. Congratulations and well done to all.

20 cards were completed and £40.00 was collected.

This weekend we will be playing The Presidents Trophy. This is a 4 ball better ball Team Stableford Competition 90% Handicaps calculated by the computer when you enter your Team. You may enter A maximum of three times with different partners if you so wish but must play on separate days. £4.00 entry per Team. Please sign in teams and enter scores on completion of your round.

A reminder that on Saturday The President is holding his Caribbean evening after golf. The winner on The day will win a Prize, but must be present in the evening to collect. £8.00 per Head. There are tee Times from 12.32pm available. So far four people have confirmed to me that they will be utilising These. Please support this day if you are able.

The Quiz Night is now on Saturday 13th July NOT the 6th due to a club function taking place. £6.50 per person. Fish and chips. Theme summer Festival.

Please make an effort to arrange outstanding Sportsman and Veterans matches in the next two weeks. I am aware of several matches that have confirmed dates. Those that are not completed without Good reason will be bypassed In order that the competitions can progress.
