Please find attached the result of the Southend Cup Qualifier played over this weekend. The Top 15 players together with the current holder Rob Leek will go into the draw for The Knock out Competition. The draw will be made at the club in due course.

Well played all of those who qualified and good luck in the draw. Congratulations to Paul Gray who won the qualifier with an exceptional Nett 66 played in very difficult weather conditions.

The guest day on Saturday 11th May is being strongly supported. There is still time to add your name/guests to the list.

The Captains next Away day list is on the board.

I have put up the sheet for entries for the Summer 4 Ball in the club. Please submit your entry fee of £4 per Pair in the box. No payment will result in no entry in the draw which will be in three weeks.

I have entered cut off dates for current competitions on the boards. Currently 19th May for Vet’s and the Winter 4 Ball, apart for the Extensions that I have approved. The Sportsman’s is the following weekend. Please make early contact with opponents and arrange your matches. Thanks for your help in progressing these to date.
