This weekend we played for The Valentine’s Medal. The glorious weather ensured the highest turnout since August with 28 cards completed and £87 collected.

Division 1 was defended and won by Dave Burgess with an excellent 80/nett 65
Runner up was Craig Deal with 85/nett 67

Division 2 was won by Lee Porter with another exceptional 88/nett 64
Runner up was Colin Fulker with a 92/nett 71.

Lee has had handicap reduced/adjusted to 21.4. Well played (ignore result sheet reduction)

Birdie 2 balls to Gary Fraser and Fred Lockhart x 2. Well done to you both, especially Fred !

This coming weekend we will be playing The Golden Day Trophy. 18 hole Medal round off the white tee mats. Single Division £3 entry Birdie 2 balls for Par 3 holes. Please sign in, complete a card which clearly shows your name/score and enter your scores on completion.

Thank you to all those who have entered and paid entry fees for Winter 4 Ball and Vet’s competitions on board. A reminder that you will NOT be included in the draws if you have not paid! If you wish to enter a pair in the Winter 4 Ball you need to do so by next Sunday. If you can not attend the club to do so please contact me.

A number of Sportsman’s matches have been played and all 1st round Matches must be played by Sunday 24th March. If you do not wish to contest your match please contact opponent or myself so we can move on. The Draw is on Club website and has been sent out. A copy of some description will be put up as soon as possible in the Club.

Reminder to those Seniors playing in the Match against Langdon Hills GC that the Club will be open from 9am For coffee and bacon rolls!
