FIXTURES

The Morrie Burns Trophy – Fri/Sat/Sun – 28th/29th/30th Nov 
Officially the first competition of the 2026 season. A stableford competition played from the blue tee set (back mats)

Wednesday Xmas Awayday – Wed 3rd December
At Basildon Golf club, 18 holes of golf and the usual Christmas Dinner afterwards. Tea / coffee included on arrival. Breakfast can be purchased separately. First tee off is 9.50am. I have been sent the order of play today and it is on the button below. Should there be any queries or changes required, please contact either Brian Taylor or Dave Seymour direct.

New Captain Julian Walden’s Drive in – Sunday 7th December 
Jules drives in at approx 1.00pm followed by refreshments and a light buffet after.
Lots of speculation regarding his outfit ! So we hope to see as many of you as possible from 12.00 onward to support him and find out what he’ll be wearing. Come along and join us in wishing him all the best for his year as Captain.
PLEASE NOTE – We have swapped tee times with Belfairs on this Sunday so we are off at 7.30am, to give people a good chance to play and be back for the drive in.

Fri/Sat/Sun – 12th/13th/14th December – Monthly Medal
Stroke play, playing off the back mats (blue tee set) as usual

Wednesday 17th December – Midweek Medal
Stroke play, playing off the front mats (green tee set) as usual.

Fri/Sat/Sun – 19th/20th/21st December – The Turkey Trot
This is a stableford competition from the back mats (blue tee set)
We will be doing the same as last year and giving bar credit as prizes. This will be £70.00 to the winner and £30.00 to the runner up.
JULES’  60th BIRTHDAY BASH – Sunday 21st December
Will be going ahead in the afternoon following the mornings golf. All members are invited and more details will follow later.
