THE RAVENSWOOD TROPHY – WED 24/9/25
We manage to get this one played last Wednesday. Julian Walden continued his recent good form and ran out the winner on 39 points. Nick Blenkinsop came home second on 38 points with Daryl Mechem third on 37. Colin Jarman, Mark Critcher and Chris Snell collected the remaining merit points.
Daryl collected club balls for the only “birdie 2” on the 15th.
THE GOLD MEDAL – SATURDAY 27/9/25
Another good turnout on Saturday for the gold and silver medals. Daryl Mechem scored a super gross 72 – net 66 to win this honour board competition, beating Dave Seymour in to second place by 5 strokes. Dave scored an 84 – net 71. Jamie Montgomerie came third with a gross 82 – net 72. Colin Jarman, Phil Sanford and Andy Scott picked up the remaining merit points.
THE SILVER MEDAL – SATURDAY 27/9/25
Chris Snell shot a gross 91 – net 67 to win the silver medal competition with Nick Chapman getting closest to him on 90 – net 71. Chris Read came third on 83 – net 72 beating Colin Fulker on countback with 98 – net 72.
No birdie balls were won in either competition

MERIT POINT TABLES
The merit point tables up to the end of September are available on the buttons below. Although there are only 2 months remaining, it’s not quite as clear cut as it may appear on first glance. There are a lot of points to be added later on from the Sportsman, Summer & Winter four balls, The Southend Cup, The Henry Cotton etc, so still all to play for. The only one on the notice board that doesn’t attract merit points is The Veteran’s competition.
