Congratulations to Iain McEwan on winning the Southend Cup this year, overcoming Phil Sanford in what I’m told was a very close match. Well done Phil for getting to the final.

Last midweek chance to qualify for this year’s Gold Medal on the 27th.

Wednesday 10th Sept – Captain’s Autumn Away Day Playing for The Hardiman Trophy – Three Rivers Golf Club
For all those attending and those still to get their names down it’s a 10.00am meet for bacon rolls etc, first tee off at 11.30am. Golf followed by ham, egg and chips and prize giving. Cost is £60.00 payable on the day BY CASH ONLY PLEASE – NO CARDS

Fri/Sat/Sun – 12th,13th,14th September – Monthly Medal
White tees as usual. Last chance to qualify for this year’s Gold Medal on the 27th.

Wednesday 17th September – Midweek Stableford
Playing for The Ravenswood Trophy – Yellow Tees

Saturday 20th September
As a club we are hosting the Trevor Williams Trophy this year on behalf of the Kindred. They tee off at 12.00 midday so it won’t impact our usual tee times but when you get back in the club there will be tables and chairs set out for their meal afterwards. Please be mindful of the preparations and don’t try to rearrange them.

Saturday 27th September – Gold & Silver Medal Day.
Yes day and not weekend as previously mentioned. Thanks to Chris Snell negotiating our concession package last year we are now able to revert to a one day competition with a £15.00 green fee.
There will be a sign up sheet from tomorrow so we can assess numbers and work out if we need to alter our normal tee times.

Attached on the button below are all the qualifiers for the Gold Medal so far with just this month to add. Non qualifiers will be able to enter the Silver Medal so everyone has something to play for.
