RESULTS

The Dave Cundick Memorial Trophy – 1st/2nd/3rd August
There were 23 entrants over the weekend.
Daryl Mechem shot a brilliant gross 71 scoring 44 points to win the Trophy. Well played Daryl. Brett Kilgour and Dave Burgess both had very good rounds as well to score 42 points each with Brett getting runner up on countback. The remaining merit points went to Colin Jarman, Chris Read and Andy Scott.

One sleeve of birdie balls was won by Jamie Montgomerie

The August Midweek Medal – 6/8/25
We had a good turn out of 18 players on the day. Pete Robinson continued his recent good form to win the medal scoring a gross 78 – net 69. Paul Telling came in runner up with a gross 76 – net 70, beating Daryl in to third on countback with a gross 75 – net 70. Dan Clement took the remaining merit points with a net 72
No birdie 2’s were recorded in this competition (phew)

Usual stuff for this one, Sroke play off the white tees, £4.00 entry and club balls for birdie 2’s

Captains Day – Saturday 23rd August
This will be a sign up competition playing for the Captain’s cup, Colin Wyatt will be putting a sign up sheet on the notice board tomorrow. Please make an effort to get your names down to assist the people sorting out catering etc. If you have previously notified Chris you will be added to the sheet.
Format is white tees – stableford
There will be Bacon Rolls, Tea / coffee on arrival.
First tee time will be 9.40am.
There is a concessionary green fee of £15 for Captain’s day. (if any one plays outside of the competition tee times they will be charged the full green fee)
The Captain is providing a free drink for all by the 8th green and a free BBQ after the golf
Entry fee £4.00 as usual

Wednesday 27th August – Midweek Stableford – Playing for The Ian Nelson Trophy
As usual, yellow tees, club balls for birdie 2’s, £4.00 entry.
