IMPORTANT
This weekend coming, 5th – 6th July there are no competitions on ( I know quite a few are away anyway), a good opportunity to get some matches played or just enjoy the roll up’s, but please be aware that WE HAVE THE 7.30 TEE OFF TIME ON BOTH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY as Belfairs are having their Captains day on Sunday.

RESULTS
Captain & Vice’s 3 club challenge – 28th June
Unfortunately but not surprisingly there were only six players in this event. As stated in our “rules of competition” a minimum of eight is required to validate it so it was effectively cancelled. The reasons behind a low turnout are completely understandable and we will have to look at replacing this one next year.
Jamie Montgomerie returned the best score of 35 points and will receive a sleeve of club balls for his efforts.

JULY FIXTURES
Fri/Sat/Sun 11th/12th/13th – Monthly Medal – White Tees – Stroke Play

Wed 16th – Midweek Stableford – Yellow Tees – Playing for the Fred Gates Trophy

Sat/Sun 19th/20th – Club Championships
A sign up sheet is on the notice board and will be left up until Wednesday16th. This is a two round competition for both the scratch and handicap championship. There is no need to specify which one you want to enter. An order of play will be produced and tee times will be confirmed for both rounds when numbers are known. It’s free entry to all, therefore no birdie balls and a light buffet will be provided at end of play on the Sunday.

Fri/Sat/Sun 25th/26th/27th – Presidents Trophy – Stableford – White tees

SUMMER FOUR BALL COMPETITION
