UPCOMING FIXTURES

Tomorrow Wed 21st May- Midweek Competition
This is the “Midweek Stableford Trophy”, to be played from the yellow tees as usual with club balls available for birdie 2’s.

Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon 23rd/24th/25th/26th May
This is the May monthly medal. Stroke play, white tees, club balls for birdie 2’s.
Following the success of extending the last competition to include the Bank Holiday we will be doing the same again. If you decide to play on the the Monday, remember to book your own tee times.
Up to date date Merit points tables will be published at the end of the month.

GUEST DAY SATURDAY 14th JUNE
Guest day is fast approaching and we are hoping for another good turn out.

The day will start with tea / coffee and bacon rolls on arrival. There will then be the18 holes of golf for the main competition followed by a light lunch.

After lunch there will be an 8 hole team Texas Scramble competition as well..
There will then be a BBQ afterwards and a band to provide music in the evening so please feel free to bring wives / partners up.

There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and third for both members and guests and for nearest the pin on 3 holes as well. There will be a team prize for the Texas scramble.

The cost is £20.00 each plus green fees for members and guests. This is an event where we receive a concession from the council so green fees will only be £15 instead of the usual £30.00 for both non season card holders and guests.
We want as many as possible to come so even if you don’t have guests you can make up your own four ball or even just get your name up and we can fit you in a team somewhere !

Once numbers are confirmed we will get an order of play out beforehand so you know your tee times prior to arrival.
Obviously there is a lot to organise and we need to have a really good idea of numbers for the food etc so can you please get your names up on the sign up sheet before the 7th June.

The draw was made in the club by myself and Chris Snell and is attached on the button below.
Bob has done the printing and will put the wall chart up tomorrow.
The competitions are going well at the moment though now a lot are running at the same time and with holiday season and Norman Plum matches it could get congested. With this in mind and it only being a four round comp we’ll set the 1st round completion date for 2nd July and see where we go from there.
