RESULTS

Sunday 4th May – Norman Plum Match
Dan and the team had a successful match against Maylands GC on Sunday coming out on top by 3.5 to 2.5. All matches were won at home and a halved match at Maylands was enough to secure the win. We should know who we will be playing in the next round in a week or so.

The Henry Cotton Qualifier – Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon 2/3/4/5 May
This extended weekend was our best turn out of the year so far with 34 entries. The scoring was very good and very competitive. The full results list is on the button below. Ordinarily it would be the top 15 qualifying for the knockout stage but due to Gary Fraser unfortunately having to withdraw injured and Capt Mick getting an automatic spot as last year’s winner it goes down to 17th place. (Dave Seymour) We all wish you a speedy recovery Gary.
The draw for the knock out stage will be made later this week.
It was a bumper weekend on club balls with birdie 2’s being scored by Dan Clement, Pete Robinson, Dave Seymour, Colin Jarman, Mick Edmunds, Jorge Iguacel, Paul Telling and Phil Sanford.

GUEST DAY SATURDAY 14th JUNE
The sign up sheet for guest day is up on the notice board. There is a lot of planning and organising required for these special days so please help out the Captain and his team in their planning by getting your names and guests down as soon as you can.

SOUTHEND CUP
Further to the recent draw, the printed chart is now up on the notice board.

VETERANS DRAW
The draw was made in the clubhouse yesterday lunchtime by myself and Daryl Mechem using the club V1 random draw facility. Rounds 1 & 2 are on the buttons below. Uncle Bob is pulling out all the stops to get the chart printed and up on the wall later this week.
